Seeking Teens to Attend Youth Conference
Would you enjoy meeting teens from around the world? Newport Beach Sister City Association is looking for teens (15-19 years old) to take part in the Sister City International Youth Conference “Community Diplomacy and the World” in Albuquerque, New Mexico July 27-August 1, 2010.
How do I apply?
1. Look over the website link below to see if this is something you are interested in.

2. Write a short Essay on “Community Diplomacy and the World.” (A page or less in length).
All candidates will be interviewed, then notified if selected. Please submit your
essay to ourjanuary@att.net by Friday, April 2, 2010.
3. Be willing to volunteer time to Newport Beach Sister City Association and speak about your
experience. Community service hours are available.
4. Family must become a member of Newport Beach Sister City Association for 1 year.
The cost of family membership is $50.00. (This is for those individuals who do not
currently belong to NBSCA at the time of selection).
5. Newport Beach Sister City will provide registration fee for individuals selected. Family must
provide airfare. All will travel together to conference.

NBSCA Board Meetings - Third Thursday Each Month, 8:00 - 9:00 a.m., at the Newport Beach Library on Avocado Avenue.
Okazaki Committee Meetings - First Tuesday Each Month, 8:00 - 9:00 a.m., at the Newport Beach Library on Avocado Avenue.
