Due Date: Forms are due by: Monday, November 16.
TIMELINE
- November 16, 2009, Monday - Deadline for submission of all materials. Either by mail or email.
- TBD, Interviews- Students and parents will be interviewed at Newport Beach Central Library. Student must submit the 3 completed Application Forms to the Selection Committee at the time of the interview.
- TBD, - Student notification of final selection status.
- TBD, Trip Deposit - Lastest postmark for mailing student trip deposit and family membership enrollment application to NBSCA at the address below.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
The following requirements apply to those students who are selected to represent Newport Beach in this exchange:
· Current United States passport.
· Medical insurance that covers the student while traveling abroad.
· An emergency medical release form that is signed by the parents/legal guardian of each student.
· A NON-REFUNDABLE trip deposit of $200 by check, payable to Newport Beach Sister City Association.
· A family membership ($50.) in the Newport Beach Sister City Association. The Application is available under tab, "contact us."
The trip deposit and NBSCA family membership application should be
